Hallo Leute,

Susan Lunde
Tommy Lunde
Kris Lunde
Dennis Lunde
13179 Fir Ave NW
Poulsbo WA 98370

Hier der Original Text von "Vanguish":

Hello everyone - Please read this before you purchase any figures via someone who contacts you through email or this website!

Here is the full story:

Last year I sold some figures to a person on eBay by the userid of captdennis. CaptDennis proved to be a good customer and ordered many figures from this website.

At the beginning of January, CaptainDennis emailed me and asked if I would be interested in buying his collection. We haggled back and forth and agreed to an amount of $275 shipped that I thought I could afford, even though I told him he could do better selling them himself on eBay. But, he went on to say he was sick and didn't have time for that. He told me the package was ready to go, and I sent a postal money order via certified mail.

After a couple of weeks (2-3) I still hadn't heard anything, so I contacted CaptDennis via email to find out what was going on. His son responded and said he was in the hospital, and that they had received the money order and he would check with his father and get back to me on shipping the figures. After another 2 weeks of no response, I emailed again and threatened to contact the authorities if he did not return my money or send the figures. At that time 'Kris' said that his father had passed away. Of course I felt rotten, thinking I was getting scammed when more important things were going on. So, I asked for any information regarding CaptDennis so I could post something about his misfortune, and I received no response. Then I searched for obituaries and could not find any information regarding the passing of CaptainDennis. I got suspicious.

I set a deadline, and 'Kris' sent me a box of figures, but it was conveniently missing about 40 figures which I had calculated to be the most valuable and the whole reason I agreed to the transaction in the first place.

After getting stiffed on the transaction (but not completely - there's still some decent stuff in there), I started investigating further. It turns out that the honorable former Navy Captain Dennis also passed away in September of 2006. At that time, it seems that his wife SUSAN and son Tommy had attempted to defraud a group of individuals interested in historical miniatures. Here are links to the information:

I found this:
http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=21451
and this:
http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=88877

OK, so I don't know whether Dennis really passed away this time or not. But, the historical miniatures rang a bell - a very bad tone. I recalled an eBay user with the ID SUERL who had sold many cases of Return of the King boosters about a year ago, as well as historical miniatures. The person had great feedback, and then lots and lots of negatives started rolling in as it turned out the whole thing was a fraud. I narrowly avoided dealings with the person at that time due to a slimy feeling I got from our email conversations.

I have confirmed that this SUERL is one and the same as CaptDennis. Anyway, the result at the time was that the eBay account was cancelled as well as the paypal account, and only some of the money was ever recovered.

So, if anyone is trying to sell LOTR TMG figures with the following names or address, or an address close, you should definitely run away from the transaction:

Susan, Tommy, Kris or
Dennis Lunde
13179 Fir Ave NW
Poulsbo WA 98370

If you have further information regarding fraud perpetrated by this person, please post it here as a warning to others.

Against my better judgement, I have offered the Lunde's one last chance to make the transaction right, or I will be notifying the authorities - which in this case would be the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office, Prosecutor's Office and the USPS. I will post on further developments as this saga unfolds.
